Why accounting ?


Accounting is the choice for a lot of people around the world to pursue their education . It has become one of the most critical courses not only for Malaysian, but in the whole world.

             
Why am I so interested to pursue accounting? This is because since I was young, I love Mathematics. I love number because it entertains my life. The harder the question, the higher the passion for me to solve it. From Mathematics, I learn the value of not giving up easily until finding the solution. For real life example, accounting is the antidote for a lot of firms. This is because accountants use the power of accounting to analyse the strengths, weaknesses, problems internally and externally in the company. Unquestionably,
accounting can fulfil my passion to solve problems critically.

               
Besides, accounting is a subject that enables to develop a well rounded person. This is due to the reason that accounting covers a variety of theoretical and practical knowledge. It consists not only debit and credit as what we learn in secondary school, but also economics,business,marketing,
finance, management and so forth. Once we are graduated, we will have a variety of choices in our career. We can make use of what we have learnt to contribute to our family, workplace, nation and even the world. For example, accounting can be used to attract investors and creditors for the sake of helping the firm to generate more income. This is an amazing job as you may gain a lot of invaluable experience that can enrich the mundane life. Accounting is playing the role as the dye of my life.


Furthermore, accounting is considered as a professional course. It is a course that has fulfilled the requirement of globalisation by the wide usage of modern accounting software like Auto-count and UBS. After finishing degree, we can either further to master degree or particular professional courses such as ACCA , CIMA , ICAEW, CPA and so on. These papers are very challenging but will be very useful in life. These professional papers are also recognised internationally. It opens our door to further our career at another country. When we talk about money in the world, we will automatically mention accounting. Accounting can give me opportunity to grow further.

              

In a nutshell,accounting is my favourite course . It is defined as language of business. Hail accounting!

Scholarship Application ( Failure Experience )

' Failure is the mother of success. '  I did not get any reply from some scholarships. ( Astro, Malaysia Airport, TM and so forth. ) However, there were three scholarship interviews that I ever failed in the middle journey. Here is the story . 1. Genting Resort Malaysia Scholarship During my economics tutorial in matriculation, suddenly I got a call. It was the first time I got reply from the scholarship. Nervously, I did my first time telephone interview in my life. ( It was long and took around 15 minutes. ) I waited for a few weeks. Unbelievably,  I was shortlisted successfully. Then, I needed to do an online assessment by my own. Initially, I was confident to be able to do it. Thanks to my roommate for providing hotspot and blockmate for lending laptop.
