Why some of the movies before 20th century is qualified to be considered as legendary films nowadays ?

Time moves on......

In this era of globalisation , it is extremely difficult for a movie to be considered as high quality even though they rock and boom the box ticket.

Personally, I dislike  most (majority) movies nowadays (including some bombastic ones) even though I am a young generation.

The movies for last few decades do more emphasise on the characteristic. The actors and actresses would try their best to act everything that had been demanded even though the act was out of their strengths. To captivate more movie manias , they would learn to do some stunts although it was dangerous and made impossible to possible ( unless the stunts are too dangerous they will use body double). However , most acts were done by humans. It was done with their blood , sweat and tears. The efforts of every actor in order to create a perfect movie is undeniable . They would keep doing something new in a bid to maintain their popularity in the heart of people.

We see the movies nowadays.
Mostly are just using special effects as the subject of attraction!
It is an indisputable fact.

As an audience, we do more focus on our visual effect rather than the core ( content , expression , lesson ) from the movie. We lose our mindset what is the so-called a good movie. We enjoy our eyes for 2  hours in the cinema rather than the post-effects of the movie.

The actor only requires to perform a little part of movie . Mostly, special effect will do everything to replace the relative weightage of humans . The actors and the actresses have to imagine to talk with somebody that is not exist for the whole movies (the robots, the animated dolls , the animated animals ) . How can they act lively if everything beside them is abstract ( just added by special effect after they act). Is it their fault since almost all directors now believe in the theory that special effect is the guarantee of box office?
Special effects can even to be used to create the main characters ! The humans , as the dominator of the earth sometimes are just a minor character. ( The slimmer the opportunity to show their acting talent , the lower the opportunity for them to gain popularity ) .

Technology improves our life , but it has gradually reduced our chance to show off ourselves . Kudos to special effect, you dissuade the ordinary actors to improve themselves and diminish the chance of powerful actors to perform themselves.)
